Busy Week at NSS
September 21, 2009 by Nick Gelso
While my usual weekly posts had slowed down last week, a lot of progress was made with the renovation of the site.
As you can see, we have enacted a new (custom) template and header. We have refined our email subscription, Twitter and Facebook links.
We are now formatted for use on the iphone and posted our first article from NSS newest writer, Matt Golden.
His first post, How Michael Jordan Ruined Basketball, a couragous look at some of the often overlooked disservices Air-Jordan paid to Basketball, is sure to create some controversy. Though I do not completely agree with all the claims Matt made, I must admit that I love his gutsy approach!
We encourage you to leave comments on the article or feel free to email Matt at mattg@norsthstationsports.com.
I’m really looking forward to Matt posting more content.
In other news, overlooked by my obsession with our sites renovations, Reds Army reported that KG is Back to Normal Again and that Ray Allen Claims that Paul and Ray Felt Fine during last year’s playoffs.
I was pleased to read about KG getting back to normal again, the first bit of encouraging news about Garnett since his mid season injury last season.
Celtics Town spotlighted an amazing interview with Lester Hudson in the post I’ll Never Back Down: The Chronicals of Lester Hudson.
Celtics Circuit explored the impact Rasheed and Marquis will have on the Celtics this season in, Marquis Daniels and Rasheed Wallace Will Impact Celtics. Celtics Circuit also looked at the latest news in the Rajon Rondo contract drama in his post, Ainge and Rondo Talk Contract Extensions.
Now that I’ve caught up with some of my favorite Celtics blogs, I want to apologize for some of the shortcomings NSS is still experiencing…
Our blog roll has not yet been updated and I apologize to my friends for not having your site links back up and running yet. I promise to get that done this evening. Also – Some of the content in our posts is bleading into the images. That should also be fixed this afternoon. Lastly, we are adding a “featuring” banner with scrolling headlines and photos of our latest posts. I cannot wait to get that up and running later today as it is my favorite addition to the new NSS layout.
Please check back frequently as the final touches to the new layout should be completed in the next few days.
As always, thanks for reading!
