North Station Sports is looking for talented, opinionated, enthusiastic and well informed Basketball fans to join our writing staff.

Blogging experience is not a requirement but providing a writing sample is a must.

NSS is looking to Fill the Following Positions:

Celtics beat writer – covering game recaps and breaking news *

Daily Links Director – compiles and posts daily links from around the web

Other Opportunities – Contact NSS for other opportunities that may exist within our growing writing team

If blogging is your passion, we are willing to help you promote your personal blog in the following ways:

Mentioning your site (and link-back) in all of your posts on NSS

Links on our email newsletter

Writer’s profile which will be posted on our “About Us” page

Writing exposure through “being part of the team” of a high traffic weblog

* Celtics Beat Writer

Assigned to cover the Boston Celtics. Covering the team year-round, even during the offseason. The sports beat writer is typically required to cover every game the team plays and write game stories, compile notes and occasionally write features and previews of upcoming games. The position is also responsible for breaking news that occurs within the team, an example being: a big trade or a criminal development (hopefully not) involving a player. This position requires use a wordpress format for posting– training is available. Please contact us with any questions you may have in regards to the beat writer position.
