Boston will have its hands full against a healthy(er) Golden State team that is second in the league in average scoring with 107.2.  The Celtics only allow 91.5 PPG this season so we’ll see if they are up to test the next few nights against the number one and two offenses in the league.  The Warriors give up a league high 112.3 PPG that the C’s should be able to take advantage of.

The teams met once already this season in Boston in which the Celtics posted a 109-95 victory.  It should be noted, however, that Golden State only had eight players available for that game and it was still close until the midway through the third quarter.

Rookie point guard Stephen Curry showed he’s not afraid to take a shot but Monta Ellis and Corey Maggette are coming off of a win against the Suns in which they both scored 33 points.  Hopefully the Allens Tony and Ray respectfully can keep the scoring to a minimum from those two.

The Warriors are thin at the center position and have been playing Anthony Randolph in there even though his natural position in power forward.  Backup center and former Celtic Mikki Moore has been inactive due to bone spurs in his right heel and is day to day.

As long as Boston can contain the starters for Golden State they should be able to handle them at home since the Warriors are still riding thin on the bench with only Vlad Rad, Ronny Turiaf and C.J Watson logging minutes off the pine.  Look for Rondo to pile up the assists feeding the big men in the middle during baseline drives against the slower Warrior big men.
