Celtics to sign Delonte West

If there is something the 2010-2011 Boston Celtics will lack this upcoming season, it sure won’t be a lack of personalities. With the Boston Herald reporting the Celtics have signed Delonte West to a non-guaranteed deal, bringing back the guard they drafted in 2004 draft with the 24th overall pick. West spent three seasons with the Celtics where he averaged 12.3 and 11.8 PPG in his best two years.

Celtics Sign Von Wafer, House to Heat

The Celtics signed Von Wafer to a one year minimum deal today. Wafer played last season for Greece’s Olympiacos and last played in the NBA during the 2008-2009 season with the Rockets during which he averaged 9.4 PPG. Wafer seems to have been a backup plan to Eddie House returning to Boston as once news broke that Eddie House would not be returning to Boston, rather joining the Miami Heat, the Wafer announcement came shortly thereafter.
