How Shaq helps the Celtics

According to A. Sherrod Blakely via Twitter, Shaq is going to sign with the Boston Celtics. There are many out there that feel this is a bad move due to the age and the disappointing performance he showed with Cleveland this past season. But when it all boils down, this is a huge addition to the team that was so close to winning banner 18.

Rudy Fernandez Would Look Good In Green

Here is a possible acquisition I can get behind.  Rudy Fernandez is tired of playing behind Brandon Roy at the two in Portland.  Why would he then want to come to Boston and play behind Ray Allen?  Age, my friends.  Roy is a young buck with many years left on those surgically repaired legs of [...]

The Celtics Work Out Kwame Freaking Brown

Yesterday, the but of many jokes worked out for Celtics officials.  Danny Ainge said the magic words with, “He looked in good shape,” and “He’s a talented young player.”  No kidding, that’s how he keeps getting jobs.  I may look good with a surf board under my arm but put me on the waves and [...]

Lawrence Frank Potential Assistant/Successor?

I can’t say I was surprised while I watched the Celtics summer league game against the 76ers when the camera showed Danny Ainge, Doc Rivers and Lawrence Frank sitting on the sidelines watching Luke Harangody pull down some boards and show off his Big Baby-esque shot from the perimeter. (Apologies for the ghetto screen cap [...]

Boston Eying Brad Miller? NOOOOO!

Seriously, Brad Miller?  The Brad Miller that KG decided needed some more in your face MF bombs?  The Brad Miller that got testy with Rondo and fouled him hard after Rondo slapped the goatee off his stupid mouth? Say it ain’t so, Danny.  Say it ain’t so. Yahoo! sports basketball guru Adrian Wojnarowski reported Bulls [...]

Celtics Get Blown Out In Game 6, 89-67

Everything that went right in Game 5 went right out the window 10 minutes into Game 6.  The Celtics were annihilated on the boards from the tip, forced too many passes that ended up in turnovers which ended up in points and they didn’t get to the rim. It was actually embarrassing to sit here [...]

C’s Tap Reserves, BEAT LA 96-89

The Celtics new that this was a must win game going in to tonight’s Game  4.  Who knew that Celtics bench would be the deciding factor in such a pivotal game? The Boston reserves cleaned house with their energy and production in huge chunks of minutes.  Glen Davis played like a coked up bull, throwing [...]
