Baby Steps…

We, at North Station Sports (NSS), have not covered the Big Baby recovery in much detail. Then again, I don’t think anyone has. Baby is going to be traveling with the team, starting Christmas Day. Here’s a little tidbit that briefly delves into the Davis recovery and touches on Paul Pierce’s odd scoring game last night against the Pacers.

From the Boston Globe:

Glen Davis (thumb surgery) will travel with the Celtics on their trip, but asked if Davis would play, Rivers said, “I don’t think so. There’s a chance, but I don’t think so.’’ . . . Pierce grinned when asked if he has had a scoring night as weird as last night. He missed his first 10 shots from the floor and still finished with 21 points. But on Dec. 1, 2001, Pierce went 1 for 16 in the first half with 2 points and finished with 48 points in an overtime win over New Jersey.
