This Thursday: The First Edition of NSS ‘One on One’

NSS Goes “One on One’…
Since early grade school Mathew Golden and Nick Gelso have spent a great deal of time playing basketball in our back yards and town parks. In those long sessions of shooting around and playing one on one in rain, sun and snow, we would discuss and debate a wide range of topics relating to basketball’s current events at that time.
Events such as, “Could Larry Bird remain healthy enough to make the Celtics contenders again?”, “could Kareem play one more season?”, “Who was the more dynamic scorer? The Human Highlight Reel or Air-Jordan?”, “Who was the better team? the 86′ Celtics or the 96′ Bulls?”…
Though the players have changed and the stirring debates have shifted to less physically challenging venues (such as the laptop), “Goldie” and I still debate about similar topics and how they relate to today’s NBA.
In the “One on One” section of NSS we will be posting weekly subjects up for debate. We will give our compelling arguments and encourage you, our loyal readers, to do the same.
If you would like to take on the point guard role and submit a topic up for debate, feel free to contact us with your submission.

This weeks topic:
The NBA vs. The NCAA

I’d love to know what you guys think about Shaq and Lebron as team mates… to the point of them gelling perfectly and feeding off each others energy.
Or the old big head syndrome where one will expect more than the other and when they don’t get there way which one will have a hissy fit and make a rap video dissying the other
But I guess this is just a Celtics blog
“We must not speak of ‘The Chosen One’”
Silly me lol!
Later Skaterz!

Thanks for commenting
This is an NBA blog with an emphasis on the Boston Celtics. We post about everything regarding the NBA and not limited to the Boston Celtics.
The topic you bring up is excellant and I will def put it in our schedule for the “one on one” section. I have strong views on how I think the Cavs will end up this season w the edition of Shaq. I will save those for the next edition of “One on One” though
I’d love to know your thoughts on the subject!
